Set in the state of HALL, a dystopian sweatshop city run entirely by a futuristic mega corporation essentially drugging and hypnotizing its workers into slaves. You and up to one friend play as efficiency inspectors who, upon a chance encounter with a rogue AI, go on a quest to escape HALL.

The Company State is an adaptation of my writing project into a choose your own adventure table top RPG game. it has 4 possible endings.

I started with a Narrative Design Document, made timelines, and used writing exercises to refine the story. I also used it as an opportunity to learn how to use AI art tools.

Side note: this story predicted scary AI would exist a month before ChatGPT came out.
